One of the most cherished initiatives under the Mumbai Indiefilm Society, DeckX is a unique program personally led by Badrinaath Sabat, where small, skillful pockets of talent are brought together into curated teams—called Decks—and encouraged to collaborate on original ideas.

With the Society stepping in to provide vital resources, mentorship, and even co-producers, DeckX fosters a competitive yet creative environment where meaningful, high-quality work can emerge. The guidance of senior mentors and industry professionals adds immense value, shaping raw potential into powerful storytelling.
